Bio: Steve is a water works professional with 30 years’ experience working with water systems in Massachusetts to implement and manage water meter and data management solutions.

 

MEETING TOPIC:

Making the most of data and technology in a changing world. Managing a water system today is more complicated than ever before and the amount of data that must be collected, stored, evaluated and submitted grows every year. We used to think of water meters as primarily a means to bill customers, however, now we see them as part of a water systems data collection and management systems. From leak detection to unaccounted water reduction, conservation and revenue forecasting, meter data is one of the key operational elements of today’s water system. This presentation will discuss options, techniques and solutions for creating and managing data streams. This presentation will show how customer facing software, AMI, GIS and other technologies can work together to not only make data management easier but allow you do much more with it.

  • Braised Short Rib: Boneless beef short rib braised with garden vegetables and plum tomatoes

Meals served with a creamy seasonal risotto and green bean almondine
Dessert will be a limoncello cheesecake

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation will be accepted up to 8 AM on the morning of the meeting by email at the following address cancel-me@pcwwa.org . Please include your name and the name of your business. All registrants that do not cancel by 8 AM will be charged for the meeting plus a $10.00 processing fee.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATION NOTICE:
