MEETING TOPIC:

Dropcountr pilot program

In 2017, the Dedham Westwood Water District (DWWD) partnered with Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) and Neponset River Watershed Association (NepRWA) to pilot the Dropcountr App for DWWD customers. Dropcountr is a user-friendly app designed to give users clear and timely information on their water use, help them set and reach conservation goals, and allow them to compare their water use to similar households in the area. The pilot is now in its second year and the team is engaged in a thorough review of the program. DWWD and CRWA will share their experience with this project. This project is being partially funded with State Capital Funds from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection under a Sustainable Water Management Initiative Grant.
