The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of Wastewater Technician. The position works under the direction of the Chief and Assistant Chief Operators, and performs all necessary work in order to maintain, inspect and repair wastewater systems within the Town of Medfield. This role ensures organizational efficiency in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods. A valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License Class D, (CDL Class B, 2A Hoisting License and Massachusetts Wastewater 4C License are desireable) (if applicant does not possess Wastewater 4C license, they are required to obtain it within 1 year of hire). High School Diploma, 3+ years of experience in wastewater or construction industry, preferably in the public sector working with local government, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Full time, benefit eligible position, Hourly range: $20.75 – $25.97 DOQ. This position is eligible for promotion to Wastewater Technician DOQ. Hourly range: $22.82 – $28.57.
