GZA is seeking a Project Manager Level Civil/Water Resources Engineer for our practice based in the Hingham and Norwood, MA offices. The position offers great potential for professional growth in an exciting working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to water resource and waterworks-related projects.
The Civil/Water Resources Engineer will work on a wide variety of projects including, but not limited to, public water system evaluations and advice, computer hydraulic modeling, pumping, treatment, distribution and storage facilities engineering, hydraulic structure design including hydropower restorations, dam/levee safety engineering, and related environmental permitting support. A sound knowledge of engineering principles relating to design and construction of waterworks, and other water infrastructure, is essential for this position. The successful candidate must have a strong civil background, leadership and project management experience to support planning, design, and construction management activities for a variety of projects.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related field of practice is required. Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer license in MA is required.
