WaterSense Proposed for Elimination from Federal Budget

from AWE
The president’s FY2020 budget proposes–once again–to eliminate WaterSense, and the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE) is requesting your help to support the continuance program. The Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program is a voluntary partnership program designed to make it easy for Americans to save water by choosing water-efficient products and services. The AWE believes the WaterSense program should be fully authorized and funded by the government to certify the efficiency of plumbing, water treatment and irrigation products and to promote the use of such products • Click here to access resources to help you join the fight, including a fact sheet (includes list of appropriations committee members) and a draft letter that you can send to your Representatives.
