Water Operator

Job Description:

The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of Water Operator. The
position works under the direction of the Water and Sewer Operations Manager and Water
Superintendent, and performs all necessary work in order to maintain, inspect and repair water
and wastewater systems within the Town of Medfield. This role ensures organizational
efficiency in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods. A valid
Massachusetts Driver’s License (Class D) is required. High School Diploma, 3+ years of
experience in water, wastewater or construction industry, preferably in the public sector working
with local government, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A
2A Hoisting License and Massachusetts 2T/2D Water License are desireable (if applicant does
not possess licenses, they are required to obtain them within 1 year of hire). Full time, benefit
eligible position, Hourly range: $30.25 – $39.92 DOQ. Resumes will be accepted until the
