MEETING TOPIC:

The meeting will cover the current M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M laws that governs the procurement of Public Works Construction and Construction Materials by cities, towns, and other local jurisdictions in Massachusetts. Ms. Bruttaniti will discuss Stoughton’s procedures and offer examples of procurements issued for the Engineering Dept, DPW and Water and Sewer Departments to ensure open and fair competition for contracts paid for with public money.

SPEAKER:

Fran Bruttaniti:

Fran is the Procurement Officer in Stoughton and is responsible for procuring quality goods and services required for the functioning of the departments in town following the Massachusetts Procurements laws. Before being Procurement Officer in June of 2019, Fran was the Deputy Procurement Officer for over 5 years. She serves on multiple committees including the New Fire Station Building Team, High School Building Committee, and the Town’s Budget Team. Fran has an BA in Education, and Masters in Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University

PCWWA Monthly Meeting requires that you pre-register for our meeting. Registration closes Friday,  May 20th @ 8:00 AM. Please note any registration placed after this deadline or walk-ins are not guaranteed. Please email Joe Richard  to check availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation will be accepted up to 8 AM on the morning of the meeting by email at the following address cancel-me@pcwwa.org . Please include your name and the name of your business. All registrants that do not cancel by 8 AM will be charged for the meeting plus a $10.00 processing fee.
