At water treatment plants, we typically focus on providing clean drinking water, but if you use any solids separation process, such as clarification or filtration, you will end up with treatment residuals that must be managed. This presentation will review solutions for many common residuals management challenges, including dewatering and ultimate disposal. We will also provide a permitting update, including the latest information on EPA’s recent modifications to NPDES discharges.
