L-03 Water Operator

The East Bridgewater Department of Public Works, Water Division, currently has a Full-Time L-03 Water Operator position available. Base pay range (29.19 – 34.72)

We are seeking a dedicated professional with field experience to join our team in providing high-quality water service to our community.  Water Operators are responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the town’s water infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in water treatment, distribution or wastewater demonstrating a strong understanding of system mechanics.

Applicant Overview

• Possess valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Drinking Water Grade Tl and DI Licensure (T 2 and D2 preferred).
• Possess or have the ability to obtain Wastewater M3 certification within one (1) year of start date.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain Collections Grade 1 certification within one (1) year of start date.
• Additional hourly pay for licenses and certifications.
• Up to 6% pay increase after 120 days.
• Guaranteed 40-hour work week with generous vacation and 16 paid holidays.

• Must be available for on-call shifts, emergency repairs, and additional duties outside regular work hours.
• Must be willing to perform all related duties of the Public Works Department as directed by designee or Water Superintendent.
