ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Halifax Water Department is seeking applications for an Administrative Assistant. Candidates for this 40 hour/week position must possess exceptional public service, record-keeping, customer service and administrative support skills. Responsibilities include payroll, accounts payable, water billing, customer contact, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting, budgets and daily customer contact. Knowledge of local government a plus. Requires three to five years job-related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Working knowledge of SoftRight programs extremely helpful. Pay range: $17.81 – $21.57 per hour. Applications are available on the town’s website: town.halifax.ma.us.
