Water Operator
Medfield, Massachusetts
The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of Water Operator. The position works under the direction of the Senior and Assistant Water Foremen, and performs all necessary work in order to maintain, inspect and repair water and wastewater systems within the Town of Medfield. This role ensures organizational efficiency in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods. A valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with Air Brakes endorsement, 2A/1C hoisting license and Massachusetts 2T/2D water license are required. High School Diploma, 3+ years of experience in water, wastewater or construction industry preferably in the public sector working with local government, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Wastewater Treatment Plant Chief Operator
Medfield, Massachusetts
The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of WWTP Chief Operator. The position works under the direction of the Public Works Director, and performs managerial functions for the WWTP and pumping station operations. The position guides the wastewater system capital planning, systems operations and contract activities. Experience in wastewater treatment plant operation, understanding of State and Federal rules and regulations, knowledge of SCADA and maintenance management software and knowledge of personnel and supervisory principle required. Full time, benefit eligible position, Hourly range: $30-$38 DOQ. BS Degree in environmental and/or civil engineering; five to seven years experience with wastewater operations and projects; Massachusetts Grade 6 Wastewater Operator’s license required.
